Here’s a quick history of who I am, what I love, and what I do. I am the youngest of six children and I was raised and influenced by my siblings, my mother, and my father. Growing up in such a large family meant I was surrounded by many inspirations. Back in the ’90s, hand-me-down shirts and a pair of scissors led me to DIY dresses and a few homemade (and unexpected) haircuts. Soon enough, my childhood crafts became my passion.
My journey began with hair styling; after receiving my hair license, I competed in the Wella Trend Vision competition at the Toronto ABA’s and I landed second place. Soon after, I was inspired to learn more so I enrolled at Sheridan College, which taught me the art of makeup. From bridal to theatrical, I became a well-rounded artist who loved working with people. In May of 2015, I interned as an assistant makeup artist at Cirque du Soleil in Montreal during the Pan American Games. Little did I know my learning was far from over; in 2015 I found myself at Humber College studying Graphic Design. With the artistic experiences I had collected, I was ready to dig into the world of image, colour, type, and design. I currently work at Globefill Inc, owners of Crystal Head Vodka as the Marketing Manager where I organize and execute events, manage social media platforms and create content that appeals to over 250k people from around the world. I am studying advanced marketing and strategic copywriting at the University of Toronto, School of Continued Studies.
My educational career has cultivated and adapted my skills; my aspirations have brought me on many adventures. Hair, makeup, photography, graphic design, and copywriting — I have fallen in love with every artistic discipline, and I am looking forward to what my journey has in store.
